He said as he looked at his arm. He still needed to have it fixed. Even though he was the construct alchemist he knew nothing on fixing his own automail arm. It was kinda sad.
"Hey Joseph, do you think you could possibly use your alchemy to fix my arm. I can't do it myself since I need two arms."

Joseph smiled a little nerviously at Sora. "Ah... right... a living hell... much better then killing someone." He said, chuckling before yawning softly. "But my skills are good... I have good boosts of my skill when needed, and I use my coat, armor, and entire body as a weapon." Joseph said, smiling.
When Aster asked if he could fix his automail arm, Joseph thought for a moment before looking at him. "Well... I can do my best. As long as its nothing to technical, it should be simple enough to fix... living in Rush Valley for a few years has helped my skills." Joseph said, moving over to Aster, taking his jacket and putting it on the ground.
With a flash of light the jacket changed into a clothed table and Joseph took Aster's arm. "Hmm... so you just need this thing fixed right?"

Joseph looked at it and then nodded his head. "Well, I'll take a look and then do what I can do for you." Joseph said, changing one of the scales on his jacket into a screw driver and removed a few of the screws and opened it up. Changing two more scales, he began to move the parts around with a pair of tweezes and smaller screwdriver.
Within a bit he continued to work on the small parts. "You continue to change this and it might just end up bad in the middle of a battle..." Joseph said, talking more to himself and working a bit more. "Well... what is wrong with it? Can't move it the fingers or wrist, or can you move them, but not with the normal strength?"

"The hydraulics are probably shot or that a few of the wires have been cut or broken. Any pain you feel make sure to tell me." Joseph said, moving the tools in his arm carefully. At the moment things seemed fine, but he would make sure to check things out at first.
"Be thankful I grew up in Rush Valley... I spent a few years studying automail inside an out... though my skills aren't top par." He added, working more with the tools. "Well... it shouldn't be much longer for me to fix this... but I can't promise that this is a permanent fix..." Joseph said, using his finger to seal a few parts and connecting a loose wire with the tweezers.

"Just so you know... I expect to be bought lunch for this... its better then charging you an arm and a leg." Joseph said, looking down and working on his arm now. It wouldn't be much longer until the arm was completely fixed, at least to the degree that Joseph was able to do. With a bit more tinkering, the arm twitched and Joseph smiled at Aster before sitting back and working on returning things.
A few screws where placed back and the metal plate returned. With a few flashes of light, the arm looked as good as new and the tools that Joseph used returned to the table coat. With another flash the table was a coat once more and Joseph moved back to the spot he was sitting in before. "That should hold you for a bit." He said, cracking his neck.

He said as he pick up the arm and reattached it. A slight pain would go down his nerves, but he would shake it off. He then got up.

Looking at Aster, he smiled and waved his hand at him. "Its no biggy. Just buy me a five course lunch and we can call it equal." Joseph said, smiling widely at the thought of lunch. "A soup or salad dish, two main meals, and two deserts... sounds so good." He added, rubbing his stomach happily.
Looking back at them, Joseph rubbed his head and chuckled. "But yeah... I guess River isn't here anymore so right now I have nothing to do so I am free to help out with either of you if you need it." Joseph said, smiling at them.

Joseph blinked and looked around and noticed that there wasn't really anywhere for people to eat in the town. That... that was a bit of a let down for the small town of Risembool, but he supposed he had to allow things like that go. He had to live in a better town for him, one with lots of restaurants.
"Yeah.. Rush Valley seems like a good place for you too go. You get your arm fixed professionally, and I get my spine checked out to see if its still working perfectly." Joseph said, thinking about the different places to eat in Rush Valley.

"Yup,and after that,we can go investigate the Raging Water Alchemist!"Sora exclaimed,and stood up with much more energy than she had seemed to have awhile ago.It was nearing 12:00,so it meant it was fastly approaching night,and for Sora that meant she would have energy to spare."If we hurry we might be able to catch a train to Rush Valley,or do you two prefer walking?"Sora asked.

Joseph still couldn't believe that River had wanted to become a State Alchemist as well. Well, the title of "Raging Water" did fit her though, for she was quite a sight when mad at anyone. Joseph looked at Sora when she stood up more energetic then she seemed to of been before. "Ahh.... walking... not something I want to do from here to Rush Valley. He said, shaking his head and getting to his feet.
When Aster took the lead, Joseph looked at Sora and shrugged, putting his jacket on. With a shrug at the metal, Joseph looked at Sora and smiled, "Shall we go Sora... let we have to walk to Rush Valley while Aster sits comfortable on a train?" Joseph was not really asking as he offered his hand and started to walk. The three would need to get into the train and it would be a few hours before they arrived at Rush Valley.

Sora stood up and gripped Joseph's hand with a smile.It would be atleast nightfall by the time that they would arrive in Central,which could mean only one thing.Night.Being partly nocturnal really came in handy at times,especially when investigating something.

When she took his hand he smiled and continued to move toward the train. With their destination in mind, Joseph wondered how the people of the town would greet him after being gone 2 years without any word but most of his paychecks. How would his parents respond to him when he arrive... the thought was a bit scary.
Joseph looked up at Aster when he stopped and called to them. With a chuckle Joseph nodded, speeding up a bit more. "Hold your horses Aster, I am carrying a lot of extra weight so don't complain." Joseph called back and looked up at Sora as she let go of his hand and sped up a bit. He didn't like being the slowest member of the three, but he would deal with it now.
