((Czech is quite a hard language grammarwise... but have the greeting phrase:

A: Ahoj (Hello) Jak se máš? (how are you?)
B: Mám se dobře/ špatně (I am doing well/bad) Co ty? (How (about) you?)
A: Mohlo by to být lepší (It could be better)

The accents... eee...

š - As [sh] in Shell
č - As [ch] in chiken
ř - As nothing in english... but try doing the rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound and press the tip of your tongue onto your front teeth
ž - As [dj] in djam
ý - As [ea] in easy
á - Long a [aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa] ;D
í - Same as ý (the difference is, that ý is 'hard' and í is 'soft' - love the grammar)
é- As the first [e] in pebble, but long [eeeeeeeeeeee]
ě - Man... that's just not english...
