Jean sat down with a grumpy look, glaring at the wig that poked out from his bags. He had no intention of putting that thing on till he had to and would like to think the same with the make-up, however, Kimblee seemed to have other ideas. With a groan, as he could already see the laughter in Riza's eyes, he pulled on the slippers thrown to him and grabbed the make up he'd gotten earlier, handing it to the woman. "I bet the Colonel is having a right laugh."He muttered with a frown. There was no way Roy didn't know what this mission detailed, otherwise he would have denied Havoc's part in it.

"Don't look so glum, Second Lieutenant." Hawkeye said, sitting down adjacent to him, "It'll only take a few minutes... and I promise that you won't look hideous..." She tried to force a gentle smile, as she blotted his face with only a few layers of make up... She had to admit... he didn't look half-bad as a woman... but her thoughts turned to the situation if her Colonel had taken part in this mission. She exhaled swiftly through her nose as she pictured it, and tried not to laugh.

Archer took the offered book without glancing or acknowledging Sheska or her profulse apologies. He casually set the book to the side, and picked up his tea to sip. "I really should have brought my own tea." he mused, "The tea they have here is dust and fannings at best." "Anyhow...see those piles of boxes in the corner? I need for you to organize them for me. First by officer rank, then by name. Last name, first." He gazed up at her sharply, "I trust someone with your manner of...skill...can take it on quite easily, correct? It should take you very little time at all...oh! Before you start that, would you ever so kindly run to the diner below and pick me up a soup and salad? And get something for yourself to eat as well, of course." He picked up his tea cup and sipped again, watching her with detached interest.
Zolf slunked down into his seat, occasionally glancing at Havoc in progress of being feminized. Riza was right. He didn't look half bad. Must be the huge innocent blue eyes. He dreaded what would happen when it was his turn. According to the ever-so-kind pawn shop proprietor, he was hard looking and would take lots of work. he sighed

Barry was thinking along the same thoughts regarding the unfortunate Havoc, though he switched his gaze to the female lieutenant as she prettied the fellow up. She doesn't wear make-up...not that she needs it anyway. She's just as beautiful as she is... He glanced at Kimblee, and noticed that the alchemist was clearly not too happy about the current situation. He probably needs a lot more work than this fella, Barry thought in amusement, and once again thanked the heavens that he himself was physically unable to have his face coated in powder and the likes.

Jean closed his eyes, frowning as he felt foreign goods touching his face. A few times, he nearly sneezed with all the powder he was breathing in. Make-up really should come with warnings, he thought glumly. Luckily, it didn't take as long as he'd thought, nor as long as it had in the, making him think that the woman had purposefully taken her time, just to spite him.
"I don't wanna hear any comments."He said gruffly, crossing his arms over his chest. He still didn't open his eyes, giving everyone time to conceal their laughing faces, because the blonde was pretty sure he just might hurt someone. Save it for Archer any hostiles, he told himself, coaxing his eyes open. He was slightly relieved to find that no one was smiling, well, Kimblee wouldn't be because he was next, Hawkeye wouldn't due to it being very unprofessional and Barry couldn't. But that didn't matter, he was done with this for now. And that was that. "It wasn't so bad..."He tried to reassure the Alchemist, yet didn't even feel that any word was true, so he then settled with a sympathetic look.

Sheska gave a trembling salute. "O-of course, sir!" she said, rushing down, and nearly falling down the stairs to retrieve her superior's order, and get back to those files. She had a lot of work in store for her... but she'd get it done... she always did... even if books were trying to assasinate her.
Riza pulled back when she was finished. "There." she said, giving him a smile, then turning to Kimblee, "Okay Lieutenant... I believe that I should apply this to you next?"

"That's Lt. Colonel, by the way," he added nonchalantly. He wouldn't have bothered, unless it was necessary to pull rank, but this seemed like a case of pulling rank for the sake of his ever-eroding dignity.
He still sat, grimly, with his arms folded across his chest as Lt Hawkeye poufed and powdered and fussed over his face. He endured it with all the dignity he could muster, ocassionally glancing up at the ceiling as if the most fascinating things could be seen there. He prayed for it to be over soon.
Archer chuckled and took a graceful sip from his tea cup, watching the clumsy little mouse trip over her own shadow. It was quite adorable, really. And what a challenge it would be, he thought, to make her into a proper lady. A small conspiratorial smile crept onto the corners of his mouth. Hmmmm.."Miss Sheska, once you finish the job I gave you, could you please return to my desk at once? I have a...project I need you to work on...with this book you got me." he held to book up to demonstrate, his eyes sparkling with amusement behind the cup he was sipping
[Okay guys, I'm going to be gone for about a week as of tomorrow. I doubt I'll any access to internet, or at least not very much. I'll try to post, but we'll see. At any rate, I'll be back home by next Friday, the 29th VaCA time!]

((Aww, have fun!! You'll be missed. ^^ )) Sheksa nodded, "O-of course, sir..." she said. She didn't know what the book was about exactly, since he had ordered her not to read it, but she just nodded... he was her superior officer after all...
"Of course, Lieutenant Colonel." Hawkeye answered, with just a pinch of sarcasm, "You're finished." She backed up and examined her work. It was as good as they were going to get, but like Havoc, she was actually suprised. "So, where does the mission take us from here, sir?" she asked.

"Lieutenant, your guess is as good as mine, but far from prying eyes would be my preference...and I think Havoc would definitely agree with me on that one." he said, casting a glance at Jean.
"Apparently it can't be known who we are, so I'm guessing we need to be a couple sneaky footpads and look into some stuff." he continued, pulling on a pair of gloves to cover his transmutation circles. A proper lady wouldn't be caught dead sporting a pair of those on their palms. And he might be recognized by someone. He raked a brush through his hair and wrapped the green scrunchy band with the satin bow around his hair. He pulled it to loosen it a bit, so that his hair hung a bit loose and framed his face, making him look less severe. The few errant strands that lay along the side of his face couldn't be helped. They were too short.
[my kimblee don't have the horrible post-prison hair cut off doom xD]
Frank Archer got up from his desk and went to the window. So many people down below, going about their insignificant little businesses, like ants. He used to pour gasoline on entire ant hills and drop a lit match on it when he was a young lad. He grinned at the thought. Kimblee would have appreciated that. Why, Kimblee probably did the very same! And pulled wings off of flies and such. He chuckled quietly and switched the fan on and tilted it toward the desk. He returned, finished his tea and folded his arms behind his head, hoping to catch a small nap. He listened to the shuffling of papers as Sheska filed and organized. Once in awhile she let out a small whine, bringing a small grin to his face. Absolutely adorable. Do something with that mop of brown hair, get her contact lenses and a decent dress and she would be quite lovely, he imagined. If she were taught how to walk and talk like a proper lady. What a wonderful idea for a 'pet' project.

Jean nodded all too willingly. He and Kimblee were in the same boat from now on. The only bad part was that he was of lower rank, which meant he would most likely be sacrificed should the situation turn for the worst. And being caught by bad guys AND being discovered as a military crossdresser did not sit high on his to do list.
"Let's keep as low profile as possible."He cast a side glance to Barry, low profile was clearly not his best trick, but then again, the hunk of metal didn't really have to hide. He just had to make sure that no one figured out he was an empty shell. He knew telling Hawkeye wouldn't raise questions as the woman was familiar with Alphonse's condition, however, if his superior didn't feel like sharing the knowledge then so be it. And he also didn't want to ruin the guy's hitting spree. Not that Barry would get very far with Riza.
((Will miss ya loads ^^))

Barry listened in silence as Kimblee explained what little there was to know about the mission to Riza-Lieutenant Hawkeye. He noticed Havoc send him a glance, and knew what he was thinking. He was not the type to avoid suspicion, but he sure hoped that he'd somehow manage. Avoiding the odd loose chimera at Lab Five had been tricky enough, and with all he'd been through he hoped that he would be able to sneak along quite easily.
He glanced at Hawkeye again, not being able to help it. Suddenly he stiffened, trembling as the familiar chilling sensation immediately followed by waves of intense discomfort. He yelped in pain, twisting around and scrabbling at his back frantically, going nearly bug-eyed with the effort. He paused, panting slightly, as he watched in embarrassment the looks on the other's faces. "Just-gotta go sort something...out." He managed to choke, rising quickly to his feet and staggering towards the compartment door. "Bloodseal" He hissed under his breath as he passed Havoc and Kimblee, hoping that Hawkeye hadn't heard. He quickly exited, sliding the door shut behind him.
He groaned in agitation, slamming his head on the opposite wall a few times before gathering his thoughts. Something was on his bloodseal, probably some small insect or the likes. Thats what you get from sitting around a dingy lab stinkin' of blood. He thought angrily. He turned around and leaned on the wall, fumbling with the leather fastenings, nearly ripping them off in his effort to get his front plate off. He gave a sigh of relief as it came off, hitting the floor with a dull 'thunk', and he hoped that nobody had the curiosity to look out of their compartment to see what the commotion was.
He quickly groped inside, not being able to see exactly were his bloodseal was, but knowing its location. He shuddered as his fingers brushed the array, and then immediately the unsettling feeling ceased. He drew out his hand, firmly grasping a wriggling centipede, which was trying to bite him for all it was worth. He glared at it angrily, and was just about to squish it, to feel the satisfaction of seeing its juices dribble of his hand, to let all his pent-up anger and frustration out on the small creature, when he hesitated. The memory of the spider in the lieutenants hair struck him, and how she had let it out of the window. He would have killed it without a second thought, but she spared its life for no reason whatsoever.
After a few seconds of further thought, he slipped it under the crack to another compartment, grinning slightly. Somebody's in for a nasty surprise.

Hawkeye had instantly reached for her gun upon Barty's reaction. She didn't know what had gotten into him, but she was worried when she finally realized what had happened... though not fully. "Is everything all right with him?" she asked, glancing at both Kimblee and Havoc, "He acted as though something had bitten him... Perhaps I should go check it out..."
Sheska had gotten the orders, and a small tea for herself. "H-here, sir..." she said, putting the food on his desk, "I-I guess I'll get those papers now? You said you had another task for me..." She forced an uneasy smile.

Jean raised an eyebrow at Barry's odd behaviour, about to ask if he was alright when the armoured soul walked past him, whispering two tell all words. 'His blood seal? Did they cause people to act like that?' He knew he'd never seen Al do it. Then he remebered Barry's excuse before he left , sorting something out. There was a chance something was agitating his seal, causing him to cast an anxious glance to the closed door.
If he was to open himself up to get to his seal, and if someone was to walk by. "I'll go see if he's alright."He offered, completly forgetting that hewas wearing a dress, thus he didn't bother with his wig either, opening the door and stepping out. Making sure teh door closed behind him, he cast a quick glance around, seeing the frontplate laying discarded on the floor. This made him panic slightly, quickly bending down and picking it up. "Hey!"He hissed quietly, as not to attract attention from the other travellers "You okay?" He then motioned to the metal slab in his hands, letting him know that he had it, just in case the dead-yet-not-quite man was to worry about the whereabouts of his plate.

Barry glanced up as the door slid open, whipping around and slamming his back into the wall, holding his arms protectively over his open front. "Oh-its just you." He sighed in relief, recognizing Havoc. He swiveled his eyes to the plate the guy was holding, and accepted it gratefully. At his question, Barry chuckled weakly. "...'m fine. Jus had a slight...incident." He managed to rasp. He fumbled slightly as he once more attached the plate, the aftereffects of the intrusion of his bloodseal still causing him to feel great discomfort.
He looked up at Havoc, noticing the questioning look. "There was a centipede picking at my seal. No biggie, its not like a creature that small could do any real damage." He paused, swaying slightly on the spot. "-'s not comfortable though, can tell you that. Seeing as its my only link to this world, I can't just ignore any disturbance on it. Imagine having your very soul touched-the entire essence of your living and who you are." He sighed. "It'll wear off though. I may have some trouble moving though, it makes one kinda weak in the knees. But it'll sort itself out, souls heal in their own way."
He closed his eyes for a moment, and actually sinking into the waking dreams of what was the closest he could get to sleep for a few seconds, before straightening up and casting an anxious look at the compartment door. "...She didn't suspect anything, did she?" He said anxiously. " I reckoned you and Kimblee had to know so you didn't freak and bring her with you. Did she hear me?"

Hawkeye actually felt herself worry... but seeing Jean go and take care of it, lent her some comfort. She had grown way to used to worrying about people, and taking care of them... it was almost as though she were the mother of the world, sometimes. She smiled lightly at the thought... she didn't mind it... but it was...stressful at times.

Jean made a disgusted face " That's a gross thought, a bug scratching at your soul. I really feel for you." He patted the man's shoulder in sympathy, wondering how it only took one day for him to get over the fact that this was a serial killer he was talking to. Perhaps people do change. And those who say it's impossible in life...well Barry had technically died, so what's the harm in giving the guy a little trust.
Of course, this didn't mean that he was willing to give him a sharp pointy knife , make a rude comment about him, then turn his back on the armoured suit. In fact, that's pretty much suicide with anyone. He glanced back at their compartment at the mention of the Lieutenant "Nah, she didn't seem like she suspects anything. Well, she probably knows something's on, yet I doubt she'll guess your identity."
"Alright, I'll head back in, say you had a sudden attack of claustrophobia or something and your just collecting yourself." He gave a friendly wink, pulling open the door and stepping back into the small space. "He's alright." He smiled to the fellow blond as he closed the door "Slightly agitated by the lack of room in here." Sitting down after he finished his explanation, he frowned instantly, sitting forward slightly as he reached behind him. He pulled his wig out, having accidentally sat on it. "Great." He muttered, shaking it a bit so it regained some of it's original form.

Hawkeye had paced uneasily until Jean returned. She didn't know why she was so restless... perhaps it was the lack of duties she had aboard the train. With the Colonel she was always on her toes... and she missed him... on more levels than just one... Her eyes widened when she saw Havoc and heard his explination. "I'm glad to hear that he's doing all right." she said, once again in her usual, professional tone, "It is quite congested in here... but we should be getting off soon, right?"

Barry glanced up as the guy patted his shoulder. He grunted in reply, shrugging slightly. I really feel for you? God, amazing how things change. He sighed in relief as he heard that Hawkeye hadn't suspected anything. "Hm...I need to get down to that. She can't not know what I am forever." It gave him a slight sinking feeling though. Of course he would rather not lie to her, but he doubted the truth would be much better.
He looked up as Havoc once again went into the compartment. "Wait-hang on-" But the door had already slammed shut. He face-palmed. "Good lord, claustrophobia?! Thats the least thing a guy like me would suffer of. Why couldn't he say that a bug got wedged in there, thats at least relatively close to reality..." He shook his head in irritation. After some time, the slightly weak feeling wore off, leaving only a faint trace of uneasiness. He sighed, and went into the compartment again.

Jean glanced at his watch, realizing that he'd probably have to take it off as well, it being rather bulky and manly. "An hour or two."He said, stretching out "Relax a bit and time will fly." He offered his colleague friendly smile, knowing that she had some issues with relaxing, unless on orders. He figured she was also feeling agitated or something like that, not having the colonel to keep an eye on, which explained her somewhat more stoic attitude then usual. Although it could also be the mission, as it wasn't a usual routine, what with all the crossdressing and make-up.

"Very good." Hawkeye said, giving a nod of approval. She didn't know what to do with herself, and relaxing wasn't her forte... to say the least. She sat down, looking out the window with a sigh. The Lieutenant just watched the scenery go by, day-dreaming about things that would probably never happen between one of her fellow officers. A delicate, feminine smile graced her lips as she thought about it.
