Barry lifted his hand in a weak greeting as he entered the compartment once more, just in time to hear Havoc tell Riza-no, Hawkeye-when they would probably arrive. "Sorry about me running off." He said anxiously, watching Hawkeye. "I hope I haven't been of any trouble."

Hawkeye jumped slightly, lost in her own thoughts. "No..." she said hastily, "It was no trouble at all..." After she gathered herself more steadily, she looked at him. "ARe you feeling all right? The Second Lieutenant told me about your claustiphobia." she said, "But it shouldn't be too long until we get off this train and on with the mission."

At the lieutenants remark he looked at her in confusion for a few seconds, before remembering and casting a vicious glare at Havoc. "My friend here apparently misunderstood something. I said I had a bug trapped in my armour, and apparently he thought that I felt I was trapped. A mere trifle, I'm sure to be more specific next time." He sighed and sat down beside Hawkeye, though not sitting too close to her. He respected that she didn't feel entirely comfortable near him, even though it despaired him slightly.
I can't keep this going forever. He thought in anguish. Sooner or later she'll realize what I am, I just have to figure out if I'd rather have it to be sooner than later. But how on amestris should I be able to explain something like that to her? "Hey, guess what lieutenant, I'm a convicted mass murderer who used to guard an illegal laboratory where I was ripped out of my body and put into this pile of scrap. Hope that doesn't bother you." Good lord.

((I know I have my directions mixed up here, but you get the idea of what I’m saying, no? Sorry to barge in and come into the RP uninvited, but I’ve never once seen somebody refused upon asking, and Barry’s reacted positively when I considered dropping into this topic.))
Envy was flying around in the skies in the form of an eagle. He’d been soaring towards Dante’s for a considerable while now. He’d had a good while to think to himself. . .He was by far the oldest of the homunculi at the age of 400, not far behind Dante herself. He’d seen her create stones and watched it destroy countless lives over the generations. . .That was apparently supposed to be one of the few highlights in Envy’s pathetic excuse for a life, but Envy wasn’t looking forward to the next purging for the creation of the stone all that much. While he detested humans, there was only so much joy one could get out of endless slaughter. He wasn’t just a simple psychopath. He was something more. . .What it was, he hadn’t the faintest idea. Either way, it’s not like it mattered. He didn’t have a choice in whether or not he served Dante. Greed had doomed himself long ago by turning away from Dante, and he wasn’t about to do the same. Dante was completely unstoppable. Besides, he didn’t really know what he’d do if he left her anyway. Serving under Dante was all Envy had ever known.
As Envy continued soaring along, he saw a passing train. While it wasn’t heading directly for his destination, it’s current route happened to intersect with his flight path. Envy decided to perch on top of the train and take a rest for a while to regain his strength, hitching a ride. The ride was relatively smooth at this time, there not being that many bumps in the road along the way. Before Envy fully drifted to sleep, though, he faintly heard a familiar voice. . .”My friend here apparently misunderstood something. I said I had a bug trapped in my armour, and apparently he thought that I felt I was trapped. A mere trifle, I'm sure to be more specific next time”. Envy began pondering who it was. “Where have I heard that voice before. . .Can’t put my finger on it. . .It can’t be that butcher with the skull helmet I assigned to guard Lab 5? No, there’s no way he could’ve gotten out. . .”. Envy tried to rest some more, dismissing the possibility that it was indeed prisoner 66, but the mere possibility of it made him restless. “Fine, I’ll go down. . .Just to prove to myself that it’s not him. . .”.
Envy turned into a flea and buzzed in through a small crack in the closed window to the room that contained Barry and the others. This crack was also what had allowed him to manage to hear Barry in the first place. Envy was astounded upon seeing the armored guardian, but even more-so as he saw Kimblee and Havoc dressed as women. He laughed in his mind slightly at their appearance, but quickly got a hold of himself. He wondered considerably what this strange group was doing here, but then faintly recognized Hawkeye and Havoc. “Those two blondes. . .They’re lackeys of that colonel. Seeing they’re from the military, this has gotta be some sort of mission. . .Must be pretty desperate to of bust out Kimblee and the butcher from their cells for this. I’m just –dying- to know who ordered this. . .But that’s not my main concern. The tin can knows far too much. I’ll have to take him out. . .But first, I’ll have to get him away from the others. Can’t kill all of em, now can I? Sides, might wanna use Kimblee in the future. . .Really love that attitude of his.”.
Having thought over his course of action, Envy flew inside of Barry’s armor through one of the eye slits of the skull helmet, moving quite quickly to ensure that he wouldn’t get smushed. Once inside, he turned into a caterpillar and gnawed on his blood seal slightly. “He obviously won’t wanna take off his helmet and feel around for me in the open. . .”. Envy didn’t realize that a real caterpillar had done the same just moments before. It must’ve been an awfully big coincidence for this to of happened twice in a row so quickly.

((Ooh, Envy's joining!! This oughta be really interesting!! ))
Hawkeye smiled, "I'm sorry he misunderstood." she said. She saw his expression change to one of concern as he took a seat next to her. Briefly, she wondered what he was thinking about... perhaps getting off the train... but at the mention of armor, her mind began twisting. The only other person who "wore" armor, was Alphonse Elric... and she had read the reports from Seargeant Brosh and Second Lieutenant Ross about there being others like him at Laboratory 5... No... that couldn't be it... The Colonel would know something about that..." she told herself silently.

((OH FUCK. LOOKS LIKE BARRY'S SCREWED.)) Barry kept his gaze averted from here, though his mind was still buzzing frantically for some solution to the predicament. He glanced at her quickly, and was slightly alarmed to see her expression wary. Its probably nothing...but why have I got a feeling that it isn't?!He had to give it a try. No way could this keep going on. If something potentially dangerous happened during the mission, he wouldn't want the lieutenant to freeze in shock at finding out who and what he really was, in case she was injured. "Hrm...Lieutenant Hawkeye?" He asked weakly, knowing that her reaction probably wouldn't be positive. Suddenly, the feeling came again. But this time, instead of only the hesitated nibble, something was really going for it on his bloodseal. "ARRRGH FOR THE LOVE OF LAB-" He twisted in agony, then to stop and glance at Hawkeye. "Wh-what I meant to say...It seems there is indeed another cretin in my suit. I knew it was antique when I bought it, though I never suspected anything like this." He said, chuckling nervously. As he sped past, his seal gave another painful twinge. After slamming the door behind him, he fell to his knees, wheezing slightly. The weakness was taking over...like it had done for...others that he had known. He struggled with the fastenings, once more letting the plate fall. He closed his eyes for a few seconds, then groped inside of his armour yet again. This time, he tried avoiding touching his bloodseal, and with a sigh of relief drew out a- "Caterpillar?!" He stared at it in confusion. "They're herbivores. Why would one go for a patch of dried blood?!" He looked at the wriggling green thing, and this time he didn't care. He was going to squish it, to blow out its meager life like a candle on a windy day.

((Relax. There’s no way I’d let Envy kill off such a fantastic RPer as yourself.))
Envy got grabbed by Barry and taken out of the suit. Now that he was outside, he could see that Barry had slammed the door behind him. Nobody was going to see anything. Envy turned back into a human, although the form he selected wasn’t his own. He had a backup plan in case anybody decided to come out of the room. Envy transformed into the first one of Mustang’s lackeys he thought of, which happened to be Falman. The large size increase caused Barry to lose his grasp on Envy. Envy briefly turned his head back into his real one and chuckled slightly. “Remember me?”. Letting him know who he was before turning his face back to Falman’s.
“Come with me. . .We can’t afford those fools coming watching us. If you come with me, you’ll be sparing them their lives. Otherwise, I’ll kill off the rest of them, along with you.”. Envy went to walk down the train car away from the room, motioning for Barry to follow. “Try anything and you’ll deeply regret it, butcher.”.

Barry gasped in shock at the strange transformation that was happening to the small creature. No...it can't be... He backed up into the opposite wall, still weakened by the bloodseal's aftereffects. And his fear was confirmed as the head of the military officer changed, in a brief flash of light, to one he had hoped he would never see again. "YOU..." He hissed, narrowing his eyes. "What are you doing here?! What do you want?! I did my job, I kept every stinkin intruder out of that foul place, and I had to let my companions die one after one in the process! If you're planning on taking me back, you must be crazy. No way would I ever go back there..." He flexed his fingers, and with one quick movement had drawn his cleaver, the new magnificent one that Kimblee had purchased, and let out a bellow of fury.
He froze, as he heard what the humunculus said, turning back into the guise of the officer. He glanced from the compartment door to the humunculus. "Why you-FINE. Go ahead, kill them. See if I care-" He paused. He couldn't do that. After all the trust they had shown him-well, not exactly trust, but not mistrust either-he couldn't just throw them away in exchange for his own life. Havoc, who had taken the trouble to show concern when his bloodseal had had problems. Kimblee, who had been the first one he had ever met to think in the same way as himself. And Riza...Oh Riza...
He slowly turned his head away. After all, his life was a mere imitation, he had died years ago. Their lives were much more important than his. "...Fine. But if you dare hurting them-I promise I'll gut you alive and spill all those wretched things out of your belly, so I'll be able to kill you." He snarled. "And if that doesn't work...well, I've always wanted to haunt somebody. Weeds don't perish so easily, and I should know." He stuffed his knife back inside him, following after the humunculus. His plate lay forgotten on the floor.

Envy chuckled subtly. “Relax. . .I’m not taking you back. That wouldn’t be worth the trouble. It’d be easier making a new guardian then getting a handful like you back there.”. Once he got to the opposite end of the car, he looked both ways to see if anybody was coming, then began to speak. “You’re going to tell me everything that’s been going on here and about this little mission. I’m dying to know just who was willing to put people like you and Kimblee on this job, much less what you’re actually supposed to be doing. Also, I trust you haven’t told a soul about me and my friends, of course? Cause you know what I’d have to do to the people you told. . .Perhaps I shouldn’t risk it. Maybe I should just kill them all anyway?”. Envy chuckled, taunting Barry. He was clearly having far too much fun with this, although he simply considered this a mere side-show.

Barry lifted an eyebrow ((WHICH HE ACTUALLY IS CAPABLE OF DOING, CHECK IT OUT AND YOU'LL SEE I'M RIGHT)) "You talk as though its the easiest thing in the world...You weren't there, you don't know how many people died that night we were sealed." He snarled.
He sighed slightly. He didn't know how to avoid telling Envy about the mission, not that he knew much about it anyway. But rather spill it out than risk the others death. "Apparently...Kimblee's boss, some Archer guy, has had some suspicions of something going on in Lior, about some priest that seems to have been two places at once. Seeing as Archer is too well known to discover more in his case, because he would attract too much attention, Kimblee and Havoc were ordered to do it undercover instead, while Archer helps in the sideline. They went to lab five to gather information on the mission, where they found me." He glared angrily at Envy. "I'm not sure, but I think I was the only one left. I hadn't seen 48 for days, so I'm reckoning he's dead. That was when I bumped into them, and they helped me out of that place, in exchange for that I could possibly assist them in their mission. Later on, some colonel sent Hawkeye to help, and that was when you came in." He finished off with a low hiss, voice threatening.
Barry's eyes widened at the humunculus' taunting. "No. I may have mentioned briefly that I wasn't alone in that place...but I never went into detail. Hawkeye hasn't even realized what I am yet. Kimblee and Havoc know though, and that I'm a convicted prisoner. They don't know exactly why and how though." He trembled slightly with anger. "As I said before, I'll teach you the real meaning of pain if you harm them. Death does not scare me, I've already been through it."

((Edit: Oops, I read it wrong... Wow, I must be tired... ^^; ))
Riza looked around. He had jumped up rather quickly... but she gave no furthur thought to it. She continued staring out the window of the small car they had on the train and tried to...relax.

((Thanks for acting in my defense, Barry. He’s right, Riza. If you really wanna come out, though, you have plenty of excuse. You can say you heard one of your fellow officer’s voices outside the door.))
Envy folded his arms in annoyance. “Oh, wasn’t I? I was posing as the lead alchemist there. I couldn’t afford for them to chicken out, so I had to be there in person to force them to get the operation done. It was quite the spectacle. . .”. Envy chuckled slightly. “As for the deaths. . .Do you really think I care about human lives, much less condemned prisoners? Everybody in this country is going to die sooner or later. No point in prolonging the inevitable.”.
Upon hearing about the mission Envy was beginning to get intrigued and went into thought for a moment or two. “Archer. . .Archer. . .Ah, right. Lieutenant Colonel Archer. Frank Archer, was it? I’ll have to go check him out later. . .Two priests showing up at once, eh? Sounds like my handiwork when I was posing as Cornello in Lior. So ultimately they’re going to find something not there anymore. . .If they keep following the trail, they might discover that it was my doing. . .Hrm. . .Perhaps I can use the butcher here to my advantage?”. Envy suddenly spoke up, having sufficiently thought over his course of action. "While I’d love to believe that you haven’t told anybody about the unsightly things you laid your lack of eyes on at the lab, I have no way of trusting you. However, there’s a way I can offer you for you to gain my trust. . .Sabotage this mission. I don’t care how, but I can not allow you to find out the secrets going on in Lior. While I’m not going to constantly stick around and babysit you, I’ll come check up on you every so often. I’m always watching. . .”.
Envy chuckled. Despite what he said, Envy fully believed Barry’s story due to the amount of detail he put into it. Barry didn’t strike Envy as a talented liar. “You better get going now, butcher. Don’t want those friends of yours getting too suspicious.”.

((...I'm not a 'he' )) Barry's eyes contracted at this new information. "Really...Somehow that does not surprise me." He hissed. As the humunculus finished off, Barry was lost for words. ...Sabotage? But-I can't-He struggled with himself for a few seconds, before sighing and casting Envy a dirty look. "Fine. I'll do my best. But I can't promise anything. If I don't succeed-" He paused and ran a hand through his ragged mane of hair. "-I will succeed." At Envy's last words he nodded silently, turning and heading back. Well...If I sabotage the mission, that means that both the other guys and me survive. If I refuse to sabotage the mission...That slimy bastard will probably kill me, and then perhaps kill the others. I could've attacked him...but no. He would have dealt with me in no time, and even if the others managed to escape, he would track them down and wipe them out. He stopped, glaring with uttermost contempt at his front plate which was lying on the floor, as though it was all it's fault. Though a question slowly sneaked into his thoughts. Why was he so troubled about the others? Well...I guess...they've become my friends. At least, Kimblee and Havoc have, Hawkeye I've just met...Though I honestly don't want her hurt either. But if I sabotage the mission-then they won't trust me anymore. And then they won't be friends...So does it really matter whether they die or not in the end?He sighed wearily, placing one hand on his forehead. "Maybe it had just been better for everyone if I'd stayed at lab five...Then Envy wouldn't have recognized me, and they wouldn't have been in danger. OH BLOODY HELL, why does this always happen to me?!" He yelled in anger. It wasn't fair everybody else got a fair chance in life, but he automatically brought himself and the ones around him into predicaments that were potentially dangerous. Maybe he was just born under an unlucky star. Or maybe he was never actually meant to live. That is, if he ever had lived.

((I knew that. It was either a typo or just an act of my subconscious assumptions that everyone outside this site on the internet is male. That and it was late. Either way, sorry, lol.))
Envy looked as if he was going to say something when Barry first said that he wasn’t sure whether he was going to succeed or not, but upon him confirming it he was put at ease. “That’s more like it. I knew I could count on you. . .”. Envy chuckled, then proceeded to turn into a flea and followed after Barry. He was curious to see if he was going to do anything hasty to hurt the operation, as Barry didn’t strike him as the one to sit and wait. Besides, it’s not like he had much else to do, besides catch a nap.

(Lol xD did ya know that Dante is played by a guy? XD You really wouldn't say.)
Jean merely smiled as Barry glared at him, thinking the armoured soul had done a pretty good job at changing his claustrophobia theory. As Barry jumped up, he made to stand, planning on helping the man with his 'problem', yet the door closed on him before he even got a word of assistance out. "Ah, he'll probably be okay." He ushered the lieutenant back to her seat with a gentle hand, yet cast a worrying look to the door.
Did I just hear voices? He couldn't have been found out..right? He waited for a moment before sitting, sighing slightly as he had yet to hear a scream. In fact, the voices grew fainter, which still had him worried.
(Oh and if you had planned on storming out the room Riza, then just carry on like that and I'll edit ^^))

((I edited my other post by the way... ^^; )) Hawkeye looked up at Havoc. "I think I should go check it out..." she said, hearing yelling coming from the other compartment, "The Colonel sent me here to help protect you and the others on this mission, and something doesn't sit right with the situation... You can stay here... if you hear gun shots, you'll know what to do."

((LAWD. I PHAIL UTTERLY. He's a pretty good rp'er if he can play Dante xD AMAZING.))
Barry sighed once more, still staring at his plate which was lying on the floor. Of course he could try running for it, in that way Envy would perhaps be distracted to follow after him, leaving the others. After all, Barry realized that he seemed to be a rather big threat to the humunculus, considering the things he had seen at lab five. So...if he was to try running away, he knew that the humunculus would probably follow him, but if worst came to worst he could always just continue running. After all, he had no physical body to tire out, even though his armour would probably be thoroughly worn out by the time Envy caught him.
If he put up a fight he didn't know how long he would last, he knew that humunculi regenerate immediately, though it causes them pain anyway. Envy would probably transform some kind of shield or weapon to deal with Barry, but it was all based on chance.
Either way it would end in his death, but for some reason that didn't seem to alarm him. To be honest, what did he have to live for?

Zolf smiled lazily at Barry's mention of the 'bloodseal' before scrambling out of the room. He chuckled, thinking how much it sounded like 'female problems'. Bloodseal... too bad Riza was here, or he would have made sure to take a humorous pot shot at Barry.
He gazed out the window, watching the passing scenery, trailing a finger along the glass. He was thinking of a certain mousy girl buried up to her neck in stacks of books. He recalled her helpless whining and smiled faintly.
After a few minutes of allowing himself the luxury of daydreaming, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck prickling. Something wasn't right. All this going in and out was really weirding him out, and Barry was acting more nervous and twitchy than his usual nervous and twitchy self. He said nothing for the time being, but decided to keep an eye on him. After all, being an unstable loose canon himself, he knew how a person could just turn on a dime and snap with no provocation. He stretched out and sighed, hairy legs poking out slightly from under his dress. He stretched his arms out and cracked his knuckles. What he really wanted was his nail file. After all, his hands were his weapons and he took pride in them.
He turned to Hawkeye, "Lieutenant...got a nail file handy?"
Archer rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he observed Miss Sheska. He picked up the book she'd brought him and handed it to her. "Ms. Sheska...could you indulge me with a small favor? I'd like you to place that book on your head and walk across the room. You know...balance it." he paused and sipped his tea, then turned back to her, giving her a pleasant smile, "You're terribly clumsy and awkward...a little grace would make you far less accident prone. Consider it a favor to us both."
