As I'm sure you know, some people want to keep their characters, but are unable to get on due to work and other matters. And a lot of the time, these characters are needed to continue a plotline.
What I propose is a system similar to the regular temp system- with one major change: the person who plays the character will keep the character and play as them when they are online. The Vice-Temp will play the character when the Main Player is offline. A Vice-Temp will keep the same Vice-Temped character until the main player tells them to stop.
