General Suggestions

This site doesn't attract me to come and RP here that much. But it is FMA so yeah ;D There are a few things I suggest you might do

Firstly a plot. I know I can jump in anywhere but it's difficult to catch up. I would have to read all active threads to figure it out. It would make mine and newcomers lives so much easier if the plot was ready to read and we would be up to speed. An example is heroes RPs. they have a plot summary for the beginning of each volume to jump into. Only a few paragraphs to summarize what is happening so far.

Secondly the amount of members is huge. But surely not all are active. if a site is to be successful it needs to have active members. I suggest a member wide email goes out saying about activeness. Say if they want to stay and RP they only have to log on to keep them active or just PM staff saying about if they are inactive or not.

Next names. I see lots of people with 1-4 characters in their names. I suggest you have different accounts for different characters. It might be a bit annoying to switch accounts all the time but it makes the sight more attractive to newcomers and interested people. perhaps to avoid confusion have all your characters names the same colour if Edward would find the coding for different colours? Also if you have all your characters in one name then you might start having to RP with yourself and therefore get mixed up with which character is RPing.

This coding is to go in the global header, it will make the threads etc. thinner and make it look like you have bigger posts

As for the plot thing, we have tried many different ways to fix this problem (you are not the first person to bring this up). Though none of the efforts have worked. So its really just read at your own risk.

I have considered cleaning out members, and I have gone in and cleaned out all members that have not activated their account. But the thing is, most people don't get the mass emails. Only those that don't have their junk mail set up. Plus, I know a lot of the members we do have that are "not active" come on to read the stories. Granted they can email me to keep their account, but that's not the point. The point is, is that just because they don't appear to be active really are in their own way.

No member has multiple characters. They TEMP them but no member has more then one character as a permanent character. So the different account for different characters wouldn't be a good idea. Since no one would want to temp the characters if such an inconvenience were to be involved. The point of temping characters is that you are helping the site get more characters into the story. So I want it to be easy for other members.

Thank you for your suggestions, the mods and I will keep them and see if at some point we can take them more into consideration.
