they had jus reached the table when suddenly ed fell down, the wrench clanged on the floor next to her. 'oh my god edward!' rose shouted, kneeling down to help him up. she grabbed his am and stood him up, wiping his hair from his ace and then rubbing the bump on his head she asked 'are you okay?'

Ed fell to the ground after Winrey hit him over the head, "Ow! Winrey what was that for?" He yelled at Winrey. He then, looked to Rose, "Yeah, I am ok..." He said as he managed to his feet. He turned to Winrey, "What's wrong with you today?" He asked.

rose stood back from the impending arguement she could see in ed's eyes. she really didnt know who this girl was but the way she threw that wrench she knew she didnt want to get on the wong side of her.

linking eds arm, rose said 'erm come on lets get that head of yours checked out'

Ed was surprised as Rose grabbed onto him. He knew that was a mistake, him being arm and arm with Rose. "Rose, no I am fine, seriously...my head has seen more damage then that...and it wasn't thr first time she has hit me with a wrench...believe me." He laughed nervously.

rose looked confused 'shes done this before' she exclaimed, letting go of ed. 'as long as you are okay then' she said. she looked down to see the little balack and white dog at her feet and bent over to pick him up.

"Ow! Winrey what was that for? What's wrong with you today? Winrey filled up with more anger at Ed's stupidty. "I don't know Ed, why don't you figure it out" she said harshly as she glared at him. How can he be so dense and oblivious! Why is he being so nice to this Rose girl. I thought he liked me. Why is he flirting with her? She snapped out of her angry ranting in her mind just enough to see something that pushed her anger over the top. She came back just in time to see Rose grab Ed's arm. What the! Who does she think she is touching him. And why is Ed letting her do that. He is mine! I can't stand this and I won't take anymore of this.
She stomped over to Ed grabbing his arm fiercely and dragging him with her. "Come here Ed, it's time for me to adjust that automail. It looks a little loose and need to be tighten." She said angrily.

Ed's face filled with horror, "What do you mean? It shouldn't be loose!" He told her. This is going to hurt! he thought himself as a drop of sweat dropped from the back of his head. Why is she acting so weird? the poor oblivious Ed thought to himself as he let Winrey drag him off.

[Chip]

Now sitting in Rose's arms, Hayate now had a bird's eye view of the battle ensuing. He watched Winrey begin to drag Ed away in her jealous rage. The dog turned to Rose, his eyes trying to ask What's going on? What's wrong with her? He licked Rose's face, trying to bribe her for an answer.

rose looked on in amazment as winrey dragged ed away from his own party, and judging by the look on his face he wasnt to pleased either. she looked down at the puppy in her arms as he licked her face.

'guess you dont know what going on either, do you boy' she said to the dog. 'i was only trying to be nice'

rose then scratched behind the puppies right ear as his tail wagged. 'come on then' she sed walking to the other side of the room 'lets go see who else is here and then we can get some food whatta ya say?'

Tires screach outside,a car door slams shut.
Mustang runs in,with a large box.
"Sorry I'm late everyone, I was busy picking up Ed's cake.Guess what kind it is?"
asking Rose, but before she could respond he answered his own question.
"IT'S A SHORT CAKE, HAHAHA. I BET HE'LL GET A KICK OUT OF THAT."

Ed heard the familiar voice of Roy Mustang in the other room as Winrey got ready to tighten his arm. "Oh no...who invited him?" He asked irritatedly. He looked over to Winrey with the same expression. He held up his arm, "Is this really needed? Come on! It is my party out there and I am not at it...granted I don't want to deal with Mustang...but..." He said to her.

'lets go see who else is here and then we can get some food whatta ya say?'

Hayate barked happily, his tail wagging against Rose. Suddenly he heard the screech of tires and turned towards the door just in time to see Roy enter carrying a box. He let out a ruff at the man, but did not try to jump out of Rose's arms to get to him. Then Roy shouted in Rose's face something about a cake. The puppy couldn't help but sweatdrop at the colonel.

rose stood back as the roy shouting short cake in her face, rose was quite shocked at what he had said but she chuckled to her self. the puppy in her arms gave roy a sharp bark, but continued to wag his tail. standing next to mustang rose heard ed come from the other room. 'he must have heard the short joke' rose thought to her self.

"Well that depends on you, Ed. Are you going to behave." Winrey looked into his eyes hoping he would finally understand she was getting at.
Come on Ed, quit being so dense. Can't you see how your actions are hurting me? At tear slipped down her cheek.

[AG]

Ed blink confusedly at her a few times, "Be...behave? Oh you mean Rose? Winrey, she is just a friend Al and I met at Lior...I can't believe you are upset over her!" Ed laughed off as he stood up, "can I go back to my party now?" He finished continuing to chuckle at Winrey.

Winrey blushed. "Well yea, I thought maybe you liked her or something. So I got jealous. I'm sorry, Ed." She looked at him shyly.
"Yea, you can go back to the party if you want."

[AG]

Ed smiled sweetly to Winrey, "Well, let's go back together..." He said as he started walking out. As he walked back into the main room and caught Roy's eye as he held the cake, "What kind of cake is that?" He asked trying to sound friendly.

Winrey felt relieved to know that Rose didn't mean anything to Ed more then a friend. "Okay Ed, lets go back to the party together." She smiled sweetly back at him and then walked at his side back to the party.

rose was standing in the corner next to mustang, who had a great big smile on his face as he showed off his cake! black hayate gave a sharp bark in her arms, 'oh no i jus remebered you wanted food!' rose said putting the puppy to the floor and walking over to the buffet table, she grabbed a chicken drumstick and tore a piece of meat off for the puppy.

'there you go' rose smiled as the dog ate it in one bite, rose looked up and saw ed and winry walk back in to the room, she smiled over to them. 'at least they arent fighting anymore' she thought to her self.

Winrey turned Rose. "So tell me what its like back in your home town? What do you do?" She smiled at Rose. I hope she can forgive me for acting so stupid and jealous over Ed.
