rose smiled at winry, 'well my home town is quite far away from here in the middle of the desert but its nice and quite. i also help out at the local church and look after the children in the villiage. not much really' rose chuckled.

'so what do you do then winry?' she asked while feeding black hayate another piece of chicken.

Just a thought of Risembol and her auto mail brought a huge smile across Winrey's face. "I build and fix auto mail. Accutly Ed is modeling one of my creations." She ran over to Ed and grabbed his automail.
"Isn't this the most beautiful thing ever! The craftmenship and detail! I love it!"

[Chip]

Black Hayate sat peacefully as Rose continued to feed him bits of chicken. His tail wagged back and forth and he ignored all the other activities going on around him. I like this girl.

Ed was caught by surprise by Winrey grabbing his arm as she did. "Winrey, what are you doing?" He asked her with an angry tone. He quickly pulled his arm away from Winrey. He smiled at Rose with a sweatdrop, "Yeah, Winrey is the best Automail engineer I know." He said to Rose.

He turned back to Roy, "What did I hear about a SHORT cake?" He asked sternly to Roy about to have one of his little rants.

rose had seen eds automail before when they first met and to be honest it scared her back then, 'yes its wonderful the way you made it' she said to winry, smiling. black hayate wimpered at her feet as she fed him more chicken.

'remember when i first saw your automail ed? when you fought with that chimera?' rose smiled as she looked at ed.

Winrey gasped at Ed comment. He has never said that about my automail or my work especially not in front of everyone. To hear Ed say that about her made her so happy. "Thank you so much for saying that, Ed. It means so much coming from you." she said ecstatically. She gave him gigantic smile as she danced around the room happily.

After Roy remained silent Ed looked at the cake. "It sure looks good!" He exclaimed, very excited. "Girls!" He started as he took a piece and bit into it, "You should have some!" He mumbled with his mouth full as he looked at Winrey and Rose.

"Sure Ed." She stopped dancing around the room and walked up to Mustang. She took a piece and took a bite. "Mhhmmm, does anyone know what kind of cake this is. It's so good."

[Chip]

Black Hayate barked at Ed, wanting his own slice of cake. He was doubtful the humans would share with him, but didn't care. If they don't give me cake, i'll get it myself. His tail wagged deviously, a plan going through his mind. But that was plan B. Plan A was much easier for now. He barked at Ed again for cake.

Ed looked down at the little puppy, "what is it?" He asked, "Oh you want some cake?" He asked the excited little puppy. He looked around, Hawkeye doesn't seem to be here...so... he thought as he took some of the cake and placed it on the ground for the puppy to eat. "There you go, but if anyone asks...it wasn't me..." He said with a wink to the dog.

HUGHES

Hughes walked in, "Sorry I am late everyone! But as you all know it is also Elicia's birthday!" He exclaimed with a large grin. "She is busy at her party, I came to give you this Ed!" He said as he handed him a nicely wrapped present. "Gracia picked it out for you!" He told the young boy.

Ed accepted the gift graciasly. "Thanks, Lt. Colonel..." He said to Hughes.

HUGHES

"Oh Ed, here you can call me Maes..." He said with a chuckle.

*BANG* A loud gun shot ripped through the party. Everyone turned to find an extremely pissed Riza with her gun pointed to the ceiling. She had a tick in her eyebrow. A anger pulse point showed at the top of her head.

"Where is he?" she asked in a low menacing voice.

Ed looked at Riza very frightened. Did she see me give cake to the dog? Oh I hope not... He thought as he began to shake. He has faced off two women homunculi and this woman he is afraid of, at least when she is angry and has a gun. He calmly stepped in front of the dog hoping she wouldn't see.

Mustang knew it was most lilkey him she was looking for.
Mustang slowly tiptoed up the next two flighets of stains to the control room of the factory.
(what did I do this time.) he thought to himself as he could feel his body turn cold as if he knew he was going to be killed.
He peered out of a cmall open window to view the oncoming manhunt.

Plan A worked! The puppy thought victoriously, devouring the cake as soon as it hit the floor. He was just cleaning the extra frosting from the ground when the *BANG* echoed through the warehouse. He froze, having flashbacks to a certain K9 Combat Training Room. He controlled himself enough to look around. There stood Riza, her gun facing the ceiling and bits of dry wall falling around her. He gave a puppy sigh of relief and dashed to her side.

"Ro,..." Riza started before correcting herself. "Colonel Mustang! I know he's here! Where is that sneaky,..." she stopped herself from swearing. She pointed the gun directly at the crowd. "Someone had better tell me which way he went before I start filling people with lead!"

"It was me she was after,what did I do,I could of sworn I did all the paperwork,or did I..."
looking around the room for anything to defend his life.When he saw it.
"...a PA system perfect, I can calm Riza down without getting my head blown off my sholders."
He picked up the microphone and turned on the PA.
"Umm... testing...Riza... if you can hear me I am sorry for whatever I did.Whatever it is we can work this out like civilized adults..."

Black Hayate was startled by Roy's voice booming around the warehouse from no where. The dog started to bark at the air angrily.

Riza was a bit startled hearing Roy's voice come out of no where. However, that didn't stop her from being royally pissed. And since his voice was coming from some unknown PA system all she had to do to find the little flame user was follow the wires.

She followed them up the stairs without saying a word to anyone. People backed away from her when she passed them, seeing fanatic look on her face. Roy hadn't taken into account every one of her skills. Finding people who were hiding and personally "dealing" with them, was a specialty of her's.

Riza saw the machine for the PA system and walked silently to it. She leaned slowly over the table on which the system sat and loomed over her superior officer.

"You chauvanistic, little,..." she stopped herself from swearing yet again.

Roy jump in fear and into the corner.
"What did I do."
He screamed in panic,Thinking (Shes insane.)
"You will never take me alive."
Without hesitation he used his alchemey to blow a hole in the wall behind him.
He leaped from the two story building into an off limits part of the warehouse.
Fortunatly, he landed on a large pile of cardboard boxes.Unfortunatly he noticed that the boxes he landed on were all labled "WARNING BIOHAZARD"
"What the...oh sweet lord no."he look down and saw the notice on the boxes.

"Roy!" she yelled, shocked that he'd jump out of a two story win,...well,...newly made 'window' just to escape her. She looked down. "Roy! Are you alright?!"

IDIOT! she thought at him. What the hell did he land in? She looked closer,...were those,...biohazard markings?!

"ROY! Dammit!! How stupid can you be? And who in the hell puts things with a biohazard out on the street?!" she was getting more irate with each passing word. "Stay there and don't move. You move, you die, even without me shooting at you." She just didn't want him to die of some horrific disease from something in those boxes.

She mumbled about stupid people while running down the stairs and out the door, hopefully to find her superior officer still caught in the new mess he'd gotten himself into.
