FMD: Full Metal Doom

[I saw that Scar and a previous player of Riza did a RE thread together (or something like it) and I thought it was a cool idea. So I decided to do something like it- however, this is based off the Video Game, Doom.)

Backstory:

This takes place after Al goes through the Gate himself, unless that's a manga-only thing. If so, this will take place after Ed finds out the thing they created with their attempted at creating their mom wasn't really their mom.

There was a suprise meeting with all the alchemists and military personelle in the area; even Scar, Kimblee and Archer were invited, and the more neutral of the villians. Roy was standing at the head, and he looked completely serious- which quelled any talking that might have arisen.
"About three hours ago, we recieved this message-
"Anyone headed to Centeral should turn back immediately! We've created a portal, but things are coming out of it! We can't stop them! Any alchemists in the area, please respond! We need help pronto! Repeat, there are things coming out of- Arrgghhh! *Static*" That is the last communication that we've recieved from Lab 5, and we cannot contact either Lab 5 or Tucker's house. What's more, it seems Lab 5 has vanashed from Amestris, leaving only a grassy plain in it's wake." At that point, Mustang paused for a moment. "This came from Lab Five, and we have reason to suspect that something bad is loose. We've already evacuated most of Central, but there are a few civilians around. Your objective: Find out what's behind this, and eliminate any threat there may be. Another note to mention is that the Fuhrer, King Bradley, has gone missing, just a little before these attacks started. Find out what happened to him as you stop the city's invasion! Move out, unless you want Amestris destroyed for good!" At that point, everyone at the meeting either went on cleanup patrol in the city, or went into Tucker's house, which had the appearance of some kind of Hell Chapel from the outside... and on the inside, the set up was completely different... was it truly Tucker's House they were at...? And where did Lab 5 go?

All that will be answered in...
Full Metal DooM: Hell in Amestris!

Rules:

1) Any character is permitted- OC's, Manga-only, and Anime are all welcomed profusely. However, try to keep the amount of people you're playing to two unless you have an OC.

2) Going with the above rule, the most Canon characters you can have is one. The most OC's you can have is two at once.

3) No knowledge of DooM is neccessary to play, but it helps. Look at the DooM Wiki to get general looks of mosnters, and the general power when compared to one another. You don't have to be an expert, but do know the basics. It makes it run smoother.

4) I set up the general plot, however, each character can be made the way you want it, i.e. If you want Ed to be the mastermind, then you can, or if you want Dante to be a good guy, that can happen too.

5) Like in RW, every identity is known.

6) Violence, blood and gore is expected in this RP- after all, you are killing demons and hell-spawn. However, sexual content should be kept to a minimum if it gets too hot'n'heavy. A carress isn't as bad, as survivours would be a joyous occasion.

7)Alchemy works full-throtle here as it does in Amestris, since you are technically on Amestris.

Yes, this RP is eventually go to Hell for those of you who have played the game before. Where do you think Lab 5 is?

Also, this RP might have a definite end, unless people want to RP out home life after the mess is settled...

The RE thread was fun enough and DooM seems like fun.
Seeing as Jean go RE, I'll give this one to Denny xD
So yeah:

"Denny Bloch reporting sir!" The sergeant saluted the officer at the weapons room, receiving one in turn before the Colonel checked his papers. He looked at Denny once, checking his name tag and matching it to the one on the paper before nodding.
With a jab of a thumb to direct him, the blonde headed towards a locker full of rifles, selecting one and loading, locking and holstering it over his shoulder. He grabbed extra ammo and then grabbed some for his handgun.

He left, having been issued some grenades, small blades and other items and made rapt work of leaving HQ.
Most civilians had left the city, but that didn't mean he could just shoot any and everything that moved. There was the off-chance of it being a person, yet the idea of weird creatures prowling around had him on edge.
Still, he was a military man, he'd taken that damn oath to protect the people and cities of his country. Hell, he'd even signed the contract.
Now if he could just find his squad.

I'll be posting as Roze and Hikari.

Roze shook her head at the carnage that had devoloped here in Amestris. She was just here to get some relaxation, but now look what happened! It seemed every major city- even her hometown, Lior- was hit. She knew that there were some survivors, but she didn't expect many to still be around. She patted her pistol in her holster on her right leg. She already had to use the thing once, and she didn't want to use it again. However, as she neared the military installation- the best place to search for survivors, she noticed a man walking out. He couldn't be a zombie- not with the gait he had. He was moving much too switly for that, and he certainly didn't look mindless, as she assumed these things were... So far, she had only seen... zombies were the only fitting words. She had seen some using Alchemy and some wielding guns. She didn't know what was worse.

She took a deep breath, and stood out from behind the building she was at. If he had seen these things already, he would probably know that they didn't seem to want to talk, so she said, "Hello? Can you help me?"

*Hikari*

Hikari was at the school in Amestris when the call came in to evacuate. Most of her student classmates were gone, but she and a few others had survived. And all this happened right before she wanted to go to the State Alchemists! Was this a sign? She shook her head, and walked out of the broom cuboard she was in. She was a little shaky from seeing things that looked like her classmates... but she couldn't help it, she wasn't a military officer... speaking of which, when would they come, if they haven't already?

Checking both passages, she headed down a hallway, and towards the exit of the school. At least outside, there were more open areas than in here. Maybe then, she'd stand more of a chance. After all, she didn't want to use her alchemy more than she had to...

Issac had been living inside an abandoned building, surviving every chance he could. He wasn't dumb enough to look for a fight, yet he was dumb enough to sometimes poke his head out of the building he stayed at to see if there were any survivors. He looked down at the pieces of ice on the ground. Inside each piece of ice was a part of the monster he had defeated. He had no idea what to call those things, whether monster, zombie, or freaks of nature.

Poking his head out again, he saw a man and a woman together. He quickly jumped through the window and headed straight for them, running as fast as he could.

Ed searched for his brother, fearing the worst. Had he been killed? Is he surviving alone? Would Ed, himself, survive alone? All Ed knew, he needed to find his brother and a few friends. There are always strength in numbers.

Hikari glanced out of the school, wondering what she would see. She saw the city, apparently in working order, but with no lights on. It was as if there was a city-wide blackout, and nothing more. There was nothing more to suggest that there was any sort of mayhem wandering about. She glanced around, and saw a short, blonde boy wandering around. She knew him to be the infamous Fullmetal Alchemist- Edward Elric. She ran to him, and was about to say something, but stopped in her tracks while beside him, running from his back. She was looking the same way Ed was, and in there way was an ugly brown creature, with red eyes, a snarling mouth, and spikes coming out of the joints. It hurled a fireball at them from out of nowhere, so Hikari had to jump out of the way. "Ed! Watch out!" she cried to him, and provided he dodged, she'd pull off her gloves, and the fire rune on the back of her right hand would glow. After a second, a fireball of her own fired at the creature, and knocked it over with a sickening cry from the creature- blood fell out of the hole the fireball created in it's stomach. It seemed weak... but that fireball wasn't weak... was it? She glanced at Ed, fear in her eyes at what happened to the Alchemist.

((OOC: Don't know that much about Doom, but I suppose I'll join. Going to be playing Dante and Lyra, though the former might not be introduced for a bit))

"W-What am I going to do....?"

Lyra sat in the back of a dark alley with her arms wrapped around her legs, her body shaking in terror. She had come to Central a few days before in search of study materials, only to find herself smack dab in the middle of a demonic infestation. Although she fancied herself a strong young woman, this was something she simply could not handle.

She pulled herself up and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm down. "Come on, you need to relax! Hiding here like a coward isn't going to do any good..."

Mustering her courage, she moved to the entrance of the alley and peeked her head out. Fortunately, there did not seem to be any demons out at the moment. Taking another deep breath, she moved out of the alley and quickly made her way down the sidewalk. She needed to find other survivors as soon as she could. Being alone in a situation like this was unwise, and she needed to get back to Dublith to help her teacher as soon as possible. Her teacher was a great alchemist, she knew that, but she was still an old woman.

She paled when she saw several figures standing down the street. Noticing that they weren't zombies, she sighed in relief and ran over to them. "Oh, thank God! More survivors! I thought I was alone here..."

*If you're part of the military, you should probably say that you know what's going on (based on what Mustang told you) and patrolling the city.*

He grumbled as he strolled down the street. "Is Mustang out of his fucking mind?" Of course he meant the major reaming he'd give the good Colonel for yanking him away from his hard-earned vacation time. But...such was the life of a military dog. Answer to the masters dog whistle!

He heard rustlings from the alleyways of the abandoned city. Mostly rats feeding on human remains... or whatever it was that went creeping about. He was armed not only with his arrays, but a Desert Eagle with several clips, an A-K and a belt of grenades. Not like he needed any of it, but there was nothing like a bit of good old fashioned shooting and grenade tossing to go with alchemy.

He saw a group of figures approaching from a cloud of dust and smoke. He could tell from the disoriented sound of their shuffling feet that most of them were sheep, ripe for the slaughter. Or maybe a group of disoriented whatever it was on the loose.

"Who goes there?" he yelled, "Friend or foe?" he chuckled to himself as he pointed the A-K at the group.

Ed was caught by surprise upon the attack. He saw the fireball coming in his direction and he got out of the way. When he saw the creature that had nearly attacked him, he was grateful. "Hey, thanks..." He said to Hikari.

Hikari blushed at Ed's statement, but it quickly faded when she heard another person calling out to them. "Hey! Another one, Fullmetal!" she cried happily. She was sure that there'd be safety in numbers, that was for sure. Especially since they didn't know what the hell was out there. However, she heard another voice call out, and this time, it didn't sound so friendly. "I-if you're talking to us... does that mean you're human?" she asked uneasily. "P-please... don't hurt us..." she pleaded with the man, hoping he'd listen- because something in his voice made her twitch uneasily...

[Zolf J Kimblee]

As the dust and smoke began to clear, the figures became more distinct. People. He lowered his gun and dropped his cigarette on the ground, mashing it under his boot.

"Well.." he chuckled wickedly, "I am a man.. but some would say I'm decidedly inhuman."

He approached the group, scrutinizing all their faces. He narrowed his eyes when he noticed Ed. "Well, well...if it ain't the shortstop." He said, "hope you're clearing these people out."

Ed followed his new friend in hopes of saving this voice. Maybe it's Al! He thought as he followed closely behind Hikari.

Upon seeing Kimblee, his determination of saving him disappeared and he was ready to leave him to these monsters. Ed heard the words, the words that always makes him cringe. Shortstop. His face turned red as his body filled with immature rage, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORT!?" He screamed at Kimblee.

Kimblee laughed at Edwards explosive temper. "Well...let's see.." he said, mock-surveying the group, then turning his attention back to Edward, he finishes, "Nope...it's gotta be you. You're the only qualifier here." he snickered with a devilish grin.

"Say," he added, "unless you're collecting a harem here, you aught to get these gals evacuated. I dont know how they managed to straggle this long and stay alive. You got a weapon besides alchemy, Ed?"

He heard a papery shuffling and hungry moans approaching from alleys and dimly lit streets. Looked like the show was getting ready to start soon. "Is anyone here besides me and Edward armed with anything?"

Haley had been wandering around hoping to find someone she knew who hadn't been killed by the creatures. It was then when she saw Ed standing in a group. "There..." She whispered to herself out loud. She saw Ed explode at Kimblee and chuckled, "Did someone call you short again Edward?" She asked as she approached the group.

She looked at Kimblee as he asked about armed people, "I am...I am an alchemist and a sword fighter." She said as she took her thin sword out of it's sheath.

Hikari glanced at the Fullmetal Alchemist, and sure enough, he exploded at the mention of him being short, to which she cringed. It seemed like the man wasn't doing much to not aggrivate the shortstop as he was called, instead provoking him. However, that's when she heard the moaning and shuffling... and heard an inhuman snarl come from behind them- one that she heard right before the last attack on her and Ed... "Guys! There's one of those things!" she called out, pointing to the last abomination she killed, the form still pretty much intact. "Those things throw fireballs- not fire like the Flame Alchemist, but actual fireballs..." She stood, with her legs apart, and her hands up, the palms open and facing the sound of the shuffling. "I have my Runology. Other than that, I'm pretty useless..." Some people might question her, since Runology wasn't well known, but who knew- the military could be sneakier than they looked...

The city was eerily quiet, with just a random bird caw. But that didn't promise much good as most wildlife had turned into scavengers. With a deep breathe and a slap to his right cheek, he felt pumped enough to leave HQ premises.
The sky was dark, or it was just the atmosphere, giving the once bustling city a grim and grey look.
It wasn't right, not in his books. If he could find out who or what was responsible for this, he'd definetly do what he could to bring life back.
Alright, so he was a patriot. But what did one expect when such things happened?
Sure he could run and hide it out. But he was in the military, so he could make a difference, so he could help those that couldn't run. Even if he never signed on to shot zombie-esque beings and mutated animals.

Footsteps.It was stupid of him, getting lost in thoughts, while walking out of the safe zone. The single sound had him swinging his rifle to his shoulder, lining the sights down the street.
His finger was a good centimetre fro the trigger, safety off, just like they'd been told. Anyone could jump out from a corner, the invaders or a civvie. It was a risk to their own lives, having to take that extra moment to grab the trigger, but it was to ensure any civilians their safety in case the soldier was trigger-happy or high on nerves.
So he waited, breathing shallow, while he stood steady, feet firmly planted, keeping stand and ready to bolt should need arise.
Thankfully he didn't need to, as a young woman stepped out, calling to him, as if to further put him at ease.

Sighing, he lowered the gun, yet didn't flick the safety back on. No one was that patriotic, unless suicidal.
"Depends ma'am. What do you need?" He didn't move from where he stood, a perfect view of his surroundings. So he gave her a beckoning smile, blatantly telling her that he wasn't moving, but not out of disrespect or suspicion.

This time, he wasn't caught off guard, at the sound of running, the rifle came back up, checking that it was indeed another person approaching them, before scouting the area around her, in case she was followed.
"Ma'am, are you alright?" He called when she'd come closer. There was nothing to be seen, but all this yelling was bound to attract attention.

Zolf could only stare in amazement at the strange creature that shuffled their way. "Wow...now that is one ugly fucker!"

He sprayed the thing with a round of A-K bullets, watching as it did a jerky dance, collapse and stand up with a groan. "Un-fucking-believable!" he said, pulling a pin out of a grenade. He threw it in the distance and the creature flew apart at the seams. Then all the parts lay there, twitching with clinging life.

"What do I gotta go? Blow them up limb by limb?" he asked incredulously, "then again...that might be fun." he snickered.
