Alleck shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked, looking ahead to the approaching station. "I don't see the discrimination of the military anyways. One can always take issue with the command, but soldiers are the ones who triumph, or suffer based on it. Their conduct, save for a select few, is dictated, and they have little choice but to comply, or there are dire consequences. Most footsoldiers are destitute men who are simply trying to earn a wage for their families, or have no options for success otherwise. And most officers work hard to get where they are, and are placed in charge of the lives of their men. There is no part of being a soldier that is malicious, unless that person was malicious to begin with, and they'd be murderers and criminals as civilians anyways. It's a stupid grudge to hold." he explained.

Ed nodded along as Alleck spoke. When he was younger, he wasn't too fond of the military himself, but has he grew older, he learned their importance in the world. Which is why he had learned to have so much respect for them now as time moved forward. "I have met some malicious soldiers...but I have also met malicious people." He agreed.

Alleck simply nodded absentmindedly to Ed's words. "Which is my point. You can't criticize an organization in which many have little choice to begin with, unless you wish to criticize the decision making body. And I have been having some reservations about our leadership of late." he muttered ominously. However, they were close to the station. "I'm ready. You have your ticket?" he asked.
OOC: (Sorry for that. I think my net situation is stabilized.)

Ed felt unnerved as Alleck spoke of his distrust. "Yeah, I have it..." he said as he pulled a ticket out of his red coat. "What reservations?" He asked with slight hesitation. Did he really want to know the answer?
((let's continue this in the train board))
((Ed is no longer in Risembool))

Tai slumped out of the cave entrance, a slightt gash across his left cheek. Blood trickled down it, some crusted around the small wound. His clothes were filthy, dust and such staining them, and clumps of dirt clung to his wild golden-brown hair. He batted at them until they fell out, and got to his knees for a small breather.
He certainly hadn't expected a fight THAT intense. Though Lan wasn't an alchemist, his combat skills had been nothing short of great. Tai had been neck-and-neck with him the whole way, and more than once he'd almost lost. The cuts in his clothes and the pain throbbing in his back was proof enough of that. Though in the end, the man had used a smoke bomb and fled under it's cover.
"Damn it!" he cried, punching the ground with his fist, the a metallic 'clank' sound just afterwards. "I was so CLOSE, too! Why didn't I see him reaching down into his cloak? I could of had him!" Getting up and brushing himself off, he hobbled to the side of the mountain ridge and sighed. He opened his eyes, their sparkling blue not filled with anger, but determination.
"Guess I'd better get going, Winry's probably worried sick."
He ran down the hill, ignoring the pain in his right leg. Eventually he reached the Rockbell residence, though it was pitch-black out, and the light's in the house had been enough to guide him. He slowly knocked on the door...

Winry after a long search about the town trying to find anyone, she disappointedly headed back toward her home. Tired and sweaty from running around all day, she gave up for the night. "Geez, I swear that's all I do now adays is take care of children." she said with a small laugh.
Pinako opened the door her eyes widening in shock. "What happened to you?!" She lead him in and made him sit down as she started to tend to any wounds.
Not to long after Winry opened the door with a tired sigh. "I'm home." she said putting her bag down.

Tai flinched as Pinako tended to his wounds, the antibiotic she was suing getting into the cuts and stinging. He had a high tolerance for pain, but small things like that you just couldn't maneuver around. Though he was glad he was attending to them at all. It took a special kind of person to take in a complete stranger like this. Granted he was paying for his auto-mail repairs, but not for food, bed, and treatment.
"T-thanks!" he said as the cloth took on a gash on his cheek. "You know, you don't have to do this, I'm only here for repairs. You're really kind." He gave a gental smile, and his bright blue eyes sparkled when Winry opened the door and entered. she sat down her bag and gave a quick 'I'm home" and he wondered how he would explain his current predicament.

Pinako just sighed a Lil, "It's no problem at all. I'm a doctor after all." she said with a small smile.
Winery gave him a wide eyed look. "What happened to you?!" she yelled, but not as loud as what she normally would considering she was tired still from walking the town all day.
