Gracia was sitting on the porch steps, watching Elysia draw on the pathway with chalk. Maes had gone to Lior with Roy, and she was waiting for them to get back.
--Elysia--
Elysia knelt on the ground, drawing with her chalk. She paused and giggled. She had drawn a puppy that looked like Black Hayate, and a big funny looking teddy bear. "Mom" she cried to her mother, "When's Daddy coming home?"
--Gracia--
Gracia walked over and gave Elysia a gentle hug. "He'll be back soon, baby" she told her daughter, hugging her still.

Alphonse had found his way to Lt. Hughe's home. He saw Gracia hugging Elysia. Even though it didn't show on his face, Alphonse was smiling at the sight. He was sort of sad though that he no longer had this for a long time. He waved to them. "Mrs. Hughes! Elysia! Hello!" He greeted happily to the two. His voice sounded like a child but hollow from the armor. The gentle creaking of his armor could be heard as he moved his armored arm to wave.

Elysia looked over and smiled. "Big Brother Al!" she cried, running over and hugging him. Gracia returned the wave before she walked over. "Hello Alphonse" she said to him, "Where's Ed?"

Ed got out of Lust's arms and followed his brother into the Hughes' house. "Right here Elysia." He said as he walked through the door. He then looked behind him to see if Lust was still following them.

Elysia released Al and ran over to hug Ed. "Ed!" she cried, smiling happily. "Oh...I almost forgot!" Elysia said to herself before turning to the Elrics. "Congradulations, congradulations, congradulations. There. Now good things will happen to you" she said happily.

Ed was still crushed about what happened at Lab 5. "Its too late for that..." He said under his breath with a sigh. He sat down and just seemed to stare into space.

Gracia frowned a little and sat beside Ed, Elysia crawling into her lap. "What's wrong Ed?" Gracia asked, smiling kindly. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Ed looked at Gracia, "Tucker...he just...I can't even say it." He said as he looked at the little girl in Gracia's lap with tears filling his eyes. "He did the unspeakable." He said to her.

"Don't cry Ed" Elysia said, crawling out of her mother's lap and into Ed's. "It'll be okay" she told him, giving him a comforting hug.

"Brother..." He whispered sadly. He knew what Tucker did was unspeakable. He thought maybe he'd occupy Elysia for Nii-san to have some time. "Elysia, I saw you drawing something earlier. I'd like to see some drawings too that you've drawn." He said with some cheeriness to the young girl. Still, what he heard there as well had questioned some of his existence. He still had many questions that needed answers including more of the quest of the Stone that he and his older brother were looking for.

Elysia slowly let go of Ed and looked at Al. She smiled a little bit. "Okay. I'll show you the kitties I drew. Be right back" she called as she ran into the house.
Gracia looked at Ed and Al, giving them both a gentle smile. "Don't worry." she said softly to the two brothers, "I'm sure everything will work out for the best".

"Um yes ma'am!" Alphonse replied sort of shyly but politely while giving a slight bow. He waited for Elysia to come back with the picture patiently while glancing to nii-san.

Ed didn't want to hear that. He didn't want to hear that everything was going to be ok. Tucker killed a little girl. He took her life away before she even had a chance to go out and live it. How was that ever going to be ok? He didn't know how to convey that in a calm manner. He didn't want to upset either of the girls. He simply looked up to Gracia, forced a smile, and nodded. "I hope so." He stated.

Elysia ran out of the house, a small sketchpad in the hands. She ran up to Alphonse. "See?" she said openning the book, "I got pictures of kitties and Black Hayate and Alexander and you guys and Winry and Nina".

He chuckled in his hollow voice. "That's very good Elysia, Isn't it nii-san?" he complimented. He was sad when he heard of Nina and Alexander. "Are you planning on being an artist when you're older?" He asked Elysia.

Elysia nodded. "I wanna make Daddy happy and show him all my pictures" she told Alphonse smiling. Suddenly she asked, "Do you think Mr. Tucker will let me go over his house and play with Nina?"

"Um, I don't think so.. Tucker and Nina had to...move." he put it that way in a sad voice. He was wondering how Ed would respond to Elysia's sudden question.

The little girl frowned. "Awww. Do you know where they're moving too or when they're moving?" She turned to Gracia. "Mom? Can we go and say goodbye?"
Gracia looked at the boys then back to Elysia. "Not today, honey".

"We're sorry Elysia. Maybe Riza will let us play with Black Hayate some time soon." He suggested to Elysia in order to cheer her up. "Wouldn't that be nice nii-san?" He turned to his brother.

"Yeah" Elysia said smiling, "I like playing with Black Hayate". She suddenly remember something and sat down, taking out a box of crayons and openning the sketchbook to a fresh page. She drew a picture of flowers and ripped it out, handing it to Al. "If you see Nina, can you give this to her?"
