Awaiting Further Instruction

Dante frowned, immediately realizing who she was talking about. "I know who you're talking about. Rest assured, no harm will come to your children. Now that we have that settled, I suggest you get moving. You don't have a chance at getting your children from me, and I doubt your little friend will be able to last much longer against the soldiers."

"You think I'm just going to abandon my children?" Martel asked, raising her eyebrow slightly. She paused slightly, realizing something. "And why do you want my babies so much, anyway? Why not just breed one of the other homunculi....You'd get more or less the same result" she pointed out.

"Unfortunately, quite a few of my homunculi have defected, so as of now that is not an option. Moreover, I need to punish Greed for defecting from my ranks," Dante answered casually, glancing at their car. "You're welcome to try your luck, but you're only going to get them killed."

Martel couldn't help but sneer. "Threatening newborns? Now I see where the cowards get it from" she retorted with a somewhat sarcastic laugh.

Dante walked over to the car and opened the back door. "You are quickly becoming a thorn in my side, Martel. I like you, but if you continue to cause trouble for me, there wll be severe repercussions."

Dorochette had hurried out of the vent after Martel, finding that the snake chimera had already taken a great of the fun for herself before rushing off after Dante, leaving the remaining oldiers in the ninja chimera's good care. Dorochette quickly finished off with the unlucky remaining soldiers as he got the area cleared for the time being. Once he was sure none remained alive and there was no risck of getting shot in the back, he hurried over to join up with his comorade again. While Martel was busy argueing with Dante Dorochette stood beside her holding a tight grip on his sword and making sure to keep an eye on Sloth as well.

The infant in Dante's arms quickly went from whining to full-on wailing. The moment Dante began walking towards the car, Ariana began screaming her head off.

Martel rushed after Dante, knife drawn for attack. She really had no idea what she would do, but she did know one thing. She couldn't just let somebody take her children away from her for good. She glanced at Dorochet for a brief second before turning her attention back to Dante. "Where's Loa?" she questioned the other chimera without even looking at him.

The humunculi became very cautious as she headed to the car, Dante already had the door open. Once the babies are put into the car, Sloth plans to kill the chimeras.

Sloth heard the footsteps of the woman chimera Martel as she darted towards Dante. The anger could be seen in her eyes and she was aiming to kill.

Sloth turned around slowly and held the baby with a wicked grin as if to mock her with the fact that they have her children. Sloth was prepared for any attack now, her ability to turn into liquid was very useful for evading attacks and keeping the baby out of reach.

"You do know that you're going to get yourself and your babies killed." She said as she giggled under her breath.

Martel hissed at Sloth's comment. It wasn't even so much for what she was saying, but for the fact that she was mocking the chimera. At the same time, she could help but be somewhat confused. When she'd be captive by Pride, Martel had seen Sloth being rather kind to that kid, Wrath. So, how come she was threatening to kill a couple of newborns?

"And what, exactly, makes my children so much different from that Wrath kid I saw you with before? What keeps you from threatening his life to keep him in line? You have no reason to treat him like you do".

Sloth's eyes widened, what the chimera said, was somewhat true. Again this made Sloth question herself, Can I feel love? Sloth wanted to say what she really felt but if she did, her master would punish her.

Sloth began to ponder the true answer to her question. She stared at the baby and the images of Wrath's, Edward's and Alphonse's face surged through her mind.

"Enough!", she yelled in a sharp angry tone, "Enough of this shit!" Sloth's right arm turned into liquid and with the liquid she gently laid the baby into the backseat of the car. Sloth stared straight into Martel eyes, she was ready to fight.

Of course, Sloth's shout didn't help matters, at least concerning the two babies. Both continued to scream and cry, frequency reaching an almost inhuman tone.

"Really, I don't want to fight you. I'm tired enough from this morning, but based on your reaction, I think you understand why I can't just let you leave with my babies" the snake chimera commented when she saw Sloth's stance.

As both Ariana and Rico were whailing loudly now The dog chimera grimaced as he held his hands on his ears while whining. Why did babies had to be so loud?! What had he ever done wrong that they wanted his eardrums to explode so badly.

"I don't gt why you would want them anyway." Dorochette growled to Dante as he held his hands on his ears. "If they're like their parents they'll be more trouble than good to you. I mean imagine trying to make a mini Greed and mini Martel be obediant!" The dog chimera had quite a point for that matter. Both Greed as Martel were rebelious. As their friend he found that great about them but considering Dante's point of view that should be a problematic thing.

"Sorry about the crying" Martel told her comrade, not looking at him. She didn't want to give Dante and Sloth the chance to leave when her back was turned. "But, it's not like I can calm them down right now".

Dante narrowed her eyes when she charged at her and prepared to counter, but stopped when her faithful minion intervened. She held onto the child and listened as the two spoke, stepping back and standing next to the car. When Martel brought up Wrath, her lips curved into a deep frown. As she suspected, Sloth was taken aback by her accusation. Her supposed affection for the boy was definitely going to be a problem, but she would easily be able to rectify it. If she caused any difficulty, she could always erase her memories of him by altering her Ouroborus.

She heard Dorochette, but chose to ignore him. He was nothing more than a failed experiment, so she had no reason to justify herself to him. Instead, she quickly opened the car and placed Ariana in the back seat with her brother, then slammed the door and clapped her hands together. The street between the two groups quickly raised into the sky, separating them. A gigantic stone serpent emerged from their side of the wall and charged directly at Martel.

"Enough of this nonsense!" she snarled, opening the passenger seat door and climbing in, closing it behind her. She turned to the chauffeur, who was understandably frightened out of his mind. "Take us to the train station immediately."

Martel was taken aback somewhat by the stone serpent charging at her, but thankfully not too surprised to take action. She was able to get out of the way of the snake for the most part. Unfortunately, she wasn't fast enough to miss it completely and ended up getting her upper arm and shoulder cut up fairly badly by the stone texture of the snake.

"Damn it" she hissed rubbing her bleeding shoulder slightly. "I can't let her get away this time".

"Then let's get her." Dorochette said as he appeared beside her in a flash. He had rushed to Martel when he saw her getting wounded. He picked up his comarade and waited as the second stone serpent charged at them, obviously still aiming for Martel. Dorochette staid still untill it opened it's viscious mouth trying to eat both of them. On the last second he jumped up to land on the stone snake's head and so run over it's body to get past it and past the wall. "You getting attacked by snakes is kinda ironic don't you think." He said to Martel as he putted her back down to run for herself. "Are you alright?" He added worried.

At Dorochet's question, Martel glanced at her wound. The cuts were fairly deep and would definitely need medical attention, but not right away. "I'm fine" she told him. "And stop doing that" she added, obviously referring to his picking her up. Her legs hadn't been damaged, so there was no reason for him to do such a thing.

Dorochette ignored her protesting. "Come on, we can still easely catch up with the car?" He pointed as behind them he heard a great crash as he could see stone fly around from the corner of his eyes. Dorochette grinned as behind them Loa had appeared, taking care of the stone serpent for them.

"Yeah, but what if that Sloth bitch tries to stop us?" Martel questioned. She knew that the water-based Homunculus was still on the other side of the wall and she would be very willing to kill them. Not that it bothered Martel, but she wasn't sure about Dorochet.

"Then we pray we can swim or hold or breath long enough." Dorochette said with a small grin. "It's worth a shot so lets just try." He wanted to make up for their mistake, well of course he would have helped Martel anyway but the previous situations were just one more reason to do so.
