HQ: Working hard or hardly working?

Maria sighed as she walked down the hall, seemily unconsious that she was headed the wrong way from her own office. Their was barely anyone in the halls which made them quieter than usual.
Continuing on her way towards the landing, she muttered
"Maybe someone will be upstairs"

[Winry Rockbell]

Winry nodded and picked up her bag, and flung it over her shoulder once again. She followed Edward out the door and wondered where Alphonse could possibly be.

Ed lead Winry through the corridors of the military base. He looked around for any sign of Al. "I just don't know where he ran off to..." he explained to Winry. "It may take awhile to find him." He said irritatedly.

[Winry Rockbell]

Winry nodded her head in understanding. "The funny thing is, he is so tall you would think he would be easier to find." As they walked she would scan over the area closely for any signs of armor.

[sloth]

Sloth walked down the hallway of the military base, now disguised as Juliet Douglas. She saw a blonde girl and...Edward Elric just around the corner. She looked away for a second, then straightened herself and walked over to them. "Good day to you both. Have any of you seen the Fuhrer? It's rather...urgent."

[AG]

Ed looked up at the woman and like normal he froze, she...looks like... he thought to himself. He looked over to Winry to see if she recognized her. Or maybe, just maybe he had thought wrong and she didn't look like his mother and he just wanted to see her in this woman.

[sloth]

Sloth could tell she wouldn't find out anything from the Elric boy. All he did was stare at her, like he recognized her. She saw him a few times, walking with the Fuhrer, but never actually had a conversation with him.

She turned to the blonde girl and spoke, "Have you seen the Fuhrer, miss?"

[Winry Rockbell]

Winry was staring at her with shock of the resemblance of Ed's mother in her face. *It couldn't be her, their mother died* Winry slowly shook her head at the question. She only seen Jean and Sheska all day, no one other than Edward. "No, sorry I haven't" she said a little nervously.

[sloth]

The girl was giving Sloth almost the exact same look Edward was giving her. Very well, I'm going to have to find him myself, thought Sloth. "Thank you anyway, good day to you both," said Sloth, in a monotone voice. She walked down the hallway, thinking of all the places Pride could be. She will have to try somewhere else in Central. She walked down the hallway, at a bit of a faster pace, for she won't be able to travel by water for now.

[Winry Rockbell]

Winry watched as she left. Winry was in shock with what she saw. It took a good 2 minutes for her to snap back into the present. "Ed?" she said looking over to Edward to see if he was alright. One thing she knew was if anything Ed would be the most bothered by it.

Ed snapped out of his trans at the sight of his dead mother in front of him when he heard his name. He looked at Winry, "Yeah?" He asked wondering what she wanted to know. I can't believe it...she looks so much like my mother. He thought to himself. He had seen her around, and each time it made him very upset to see her. This time, she actually talked to him.

Jean walked through the hallways, not really seeing anyone but a few enlisted soldiers or secretaries.
"Damn it Ed!"He was starting to get frustrated now.

[AG]

Ed heard his name just down the hallway. "Huh? That sounded like Havoc." he said out loud, to himself. What could he possibly want from me? he thought to himself as he looked in the direction that he heard his name come from.

[Winry Rockbell]

"Are you alright?" Winry asked him worried that he was emotionally hurt, which she figured he was. She couldn't blame him. She heard the voice calling Edward's name and wondered what Edward possibly did now.

[AG]

Ed looked back to Winry, "Yeah, I am alright," he said. He looked back in the direction of where he heard Havoc's voice. "Come on, I need to see what Havoc needs." He said to his blond friend. He walked down the hall and saw Havoc there. "Hey, what did you need?" He asked his friend.

[aspiredeathe]

"ED!"Havoc yelled relieved."Damn, do you know how long i've been looking for you?" Truth be told it was a maximum of 5 minutes, but he didn't need to know that.
He smiled as he saw Winry again, nodding a greeting.
"Colonel wants to see you. Something important i guess."He shrugged indifferently, not really remembering what Mustang had said.

Ed moaned at the idea of seeing the colonel twice in one day. He then remembered that the colonel knew about the traitor. "Did he tell you anything?" He asked Havoc, wondering if he was told anything. Has the colonel maybe found something out? Why would he need me? He asked himself in thought.

[Winry Rockbell]

Winry listened to the two talk, she wondered if she should follow Ed or continue looking for Alphonse. She decided she would ask Edward and leave it up to him. Winry turned towards Ed, "Should I stick with you or look for Alphonse?" she asked. She didn't want to be a bother for Ed, but she wasn't sure if she should be walking around HQ on her own either.

Ed turned to Winry, "Umm, I think you should continue to look for Al..." He said. He wanted her to not get involved in this piece of his life. For her own safety, or at least what he figured would be for her safety.

Winry understood and nodded her head, "Alright." she said as she turned around and headed in the opposite direction to find Alphonse. *Now where could he be?*
